Greetings from the lovely Land of OZ!

What a gorgeous morning! The temperature is moderate and the humidity is low. That's a treat for a July morning in Kansas! My guys are doing yard work, and I took the worm boys out to the compost heap. Who are the worm boys? When we were studying soil in Earth Science this year, my class made a worm farm to see how soil is made. I have been feeding the worms veggie scraps and coffee grounds. The other day, I looked in the can. I found a worm population explosion. So, it was time to move from the can to the compost pile. Otherwise, they would not have room to grow. Enough about worms! Let's talk chicken.

Rotisserie Chicken Sandwiches Recipe
When summer heats up, how do you get good nutrition? A rotisserie chicken can be a bargain. With this fully cooked meat, you can make many different chicken dishes, including some delicious sandwiches.

One of the most frugal things that I do is buy a rotisserie chicken when I go to Costco. They have lovely large rotisserie chickens that have a lot of meat on them. Scrawny, small chickens are not worth the money to me. Our family of four can have meat for three meals from one Costco chicken that costs about six dollars. That's fifty cents a serving!

I hope you enjoy these tasty sandwiches! You get real food, but you don't have to heat your house. In the summer, that's a real blessing.
