As Americans develop more sophistication in their palates, craft brewers are eager for their opinions. As part of the "Beer Lover's Choice Program," Boston Beer wants you, the Beer Lover, to help in the selection of the newest addition to the Samuel Adams Brewmaster's Collection.
During August and September of 2006, Samuel Adams will be holding tasting/voting events in cities across the USA, as beer connoisseurs prime their taste buds to choose between Honey Porter and Smoked Lager.
Honey Porter, first brewed in 1994, had been retired, but popular requests have brought it back to life. Smooth and sweet, with a roasted malt profile, this style of English Porter sings with a spicy belt of earthy hops, softened with Scottish Heather honey.
Smoked Lager is a Southern German Rauchbier, featuring smoked Bavarian malts and the sweetness of caramel and toffee.

Two blondes were working on a house.
The one who was nailing down siding, would reach into her nail pouch, pull out a nail and either toss it over her shoulder or nail it in. The other blonde, figuring this was worth looking into asked, "Why are you throwing those nails away?"
The first blonde explained, "If I pull a nail out of my pouch and it's pointed TOWARD me I throw it away 'cause it's defective. If it's pointed toward the HOUSE, then I nail it in!"
The second blonde got completely pissed off and yelled, "You MORON!!! The nails pointed toward you aren't defective! They're for the OTHER side of the house!!"
