Editor's Note -
Greetings to all my readers and welcome to all newcomers. We are glad you decided to join us. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me at ezines@bellaonline.com.
We are heading towards the end of summer and into fall here in the northern hemisphere. The days are becoming a little easier to deal with as far as the heat goes. Right now are enjoying warm temperatures but not so much humidity. It is also the time of year when we start losing some of daylight by about 5-6 minutes per day. Hence are days are going to be getting shorter and nights longer.
I love the change of season here in New England.

September 11th - Patriot's Day
This is a time of quiet and silence that is observed around the nation for those who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks on U.S. Soil. For as many that died that dreadful day, many were mortally and permanently wounded or disabled. It is one of the most horrendous terrorist acts to take place on this country as a whole. Many emergency response people lost their lives in the rescue attempt of so many people. But let us not forget either those who lost loved ones, children, mothers and fathers; sister and brothers' etc.
So as this day in history approaches consider doing an honorary note of some sort in your September newsletter. You may even consider dedicating your entire newsletter for the month to all the different things and aspects that this day entailed as well as where you stand today on the issue. Many of you have websites where you have the opportunity to give credence to all that day consisted of. If you do decide you want to do something to memorialize the day and the people, then it is best to write it and post it ahead of time to give the search engines enough to index it.
What could you share in your newsletter and with your readers about this day? Share your story. Share how it affected you, your family and your community. What about relatives or friends? Give them the opportunity to share some of their grief and pain with your readers. It does not have to be anything major because everything about that day was major and we are still a scarred Nation today. Just an acknowledgement of the grief and terror that hit our country on that day.
