I'm sure that everyone's seen John Carpenter's 'Halloween'. I'm also sure that a lot of you are aware of the controversy around Rob Zombie's recent remake of the classic film.

If you've been reading my articles (hopefully you have) then you'll know I despise most remakes. Especially of classics, such as 'Halloween'. That's why I wanted to take a look at the main star of Halloween this week, and I think we can all agree, that without her amazing performance, the film might not have been as successful.

Of the remake, I've only seen the trailers, but I think it looks awful. There is a great sadness, because the 'Halloween' films were also a legacy to Donald Pleaseance. However, I will wait and see before I judge the film, and I can't wait to review it.

I hope everyone is fine, and I hope you enjoy reading about Jamie Lee Curtis, and last week I looked at Werewolves in horror, covering some of my favourite films, such as An American werewolf in London, Wolf and The Howling.
