September 24 2011 Tennis Newsletter

Greetings tennis fans!

The 2011 U.S. Open is in the record books. As promised, it was full of great tennis and not so great drama. Props to teenagers Melanie Oudin and Jack Sock for taking home the Mixed Doubles trophy. On the men's side, Novak Djokovic survived a scare and overcame Rafael Nadal for the title, and surprising for the women, Sam Stouser kept her head when Serena Williams didn't to upset the favorite. It's the last of the Grand Slam events for this year but there is still plenty of tennis to be played.

As we transition out of summer tennis sun and fun, it's time to start thinknig about getting out the rain gear. Check out the latest from the Tennis site at BellaOnline.com.
