April will be bringing thoughts of spring for me in Western Pennsylvania, unless we finally have that one "big" snowstorm we keep being told is coming. My feelings are we are over that and maybe it's time to start thinking spring. Secretly, I wouldn't mind just one really big storm!

Some of the holidays we get to celebrate in April are Alcohol Awareness Month,
Autism Awareness Month, Financial Literacy Month, Keep America Beautiful, Month of the Young Child, National Kite Month, National Poetry Month, Straw Hat Month (this could be fun), as well as Laugh at Work Week (1-7), National Week of the Ocean (6-12), Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Week (13-19), National Library Week (13-19), to name several. There are so many fun special days and holidays for April. I'll try very hard to incorporate a few into some nifty crafting ideas.

In addition to this, I'll be preparing some ideas for my Brownie troop for when we go on our camping trip over Mother's Day weekend in May. I'm having a great time planning this. If you have any ideas for us, please feel free to share them in the forum. I'll be starting a thread there soon concerning my planning fun for this.
