It is Spring in the northern hemisphere. Flowers are blooming, snow is melting (although here in the USA we have had an unusually warm winter) and Nature is fertile with promise. In milder climates, such as where I am now, that promise may be a bit more subtle than farther away from the equator, but it is there just the same. I love it!
There is just no way I can look out at how beautiful the natural world is and not feel loved by God. Unfortunately, I am often confounded by what my fellow humans have done to that beauty in the name of profits and the assorted 'isms' that religion has tried to train us out of for generations. Violence against others: the uncaring, the ignorant, or the bigots is not the answer, however.

Also, this weekend is Mother's Day here in the USA. Mothers, if we are lucky, are the first to show us what love is.
