October 12 2008 Costuming Newsletter

October is typically a very busy month for costuming. What a great time to start as the new Costuming editor at I am very excited with this new adventure and look forward to providing useful costume information and resources to everyone interested in costuming.

What are you going to be for Halloween?

Finding the perfect Halloween costume for you or your kids is a high priority. I have several articles you might find helpful.

The “Almost No Sew Fairy Princess Ballet Tutu” article is a great how to for a quick, practically no sew ballet tutu.

My review of the 2008 Costume Sewing Patterns for those interested in making your child’s Halloween Costume.

The Low Budget Halloween Costumes article includes many ideas for boys and girls starting with a simple sweat suit.

To participate in free, fun online discussions, this site has a community forum all about Costuming located here – I would love to hear about your costumes for Halloween.

I hope to hear from you sometime soon, either in the forum or in response to this email message. I thrive on your feedback!

Have fun passing this message along to family and friends, because we all love free knowledge!
