October 23 2006 Organization Newsletter

Greetings from BellaOnline's Organization site!

Though it feels like I just flipped my calendar page to October, the month is in fact on its last legs. Halloween is just about a week away, which means that the other end-of-the-year holidays aren't far behind.

Whether you throw yourself into Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and New Year's with delightful abandon, or feel like climbing under a rock when this time of year rolls around, my wish for you this season is more time to revel in the important parts of these celebrations (like spending time with friends and family, and looking back on what's happened in the past year) and less time feeling stressed. Does that seem like an impossible goal? This week's article proves that it's well within reach:

I recently had a client go through just this experience, and I share my advice to her in this article:

There comes a time for all of us when life gets in the way of our best organizing intentions. Here's one way to gracefully fall of the organizing wagon, regroup, and get back on.

Have a fantastic Halloween, and here's to the most wonderful, enjoyable, and organized holiday season yet!

My best to you,
