Passionate about life and a great champagne cocktail, Beth Schreibman Gehring has been helping others create lives that they love for over 20 years. Years of experience as a visual stylist blended with an extensive background in public relations and marketing allowed her to work in and eventually become the President of her family’s business , Schreibman Jewelers which was one of the most prestigious bridal, giftware and tabletop businesses in Northeast Ohio for many years. More importantly , it was the place where Beth learned to throw wonderful cocktail parties which she gave for every possible opportunity, whether the occasion was a bridal shower for all of her registered brides or a sophisticated Thursday evening fete before a Cleveland Orchestra performance. She came by this naturally it would seem, her mother Barbara swears that one day she caught a 5 year old Beth inviting the milkman in for cocktails and hors d’oeurves. Well, it was the 60’s!
Along the way she discovered that many were drawn to her for her ability to live everyday with beauty, creating each moment as a magical new gift, a never-ending circle of celebrations, feasts and fun. It is her belief that a great cocktail in just the right setting can enhance conversation and create a fun atmosphere to enjoy new relationships and old friends!
As well as writing for Bella Online, Beth writes for Perfume Smellin Things , a daily blog devoted to the enjoyment of fine fragrances and her own site StirringtheSenses! which is all about the fine arts of shopping, entertaining and in general creating a lifestyle that you love!
She has been privileged to have many of her articles published locally and nationally, and has enjoyed giving many interviews over the years, most notably to Martha Stewart Living, Gifts and Decorative Accessories, and Tableware Today.
A gifted cook and creative hostess , Beth has also had the distinct honor and pleasure of designing the table settings for several TV series, including "Julia Child cooks at home with Friends" , "Julia Child cooks with Jacque Pepin" and the " Todd English and Olives restaurant" cooking show. She has also created the table setting designs for the books of the same name.
She lives in Cleveland with her husband Jim and her 20 year son Alex!
