About the BellaOnline Creativity Editor

Iīm a 42-year-old mom of three wonderful girls and wife of one lucky man! My life has been a variety of things, but never boring. I have a degree in graphic design, a registered nurseīs license, and a life-long love affair with creating things. My particular interests are in fiber arts and mixed media, and I spend time every week finding ways to bring out my own creativity and express it in my work.

Recently I have left nursing to begin a more dedicated path to my own creativity. I have started a business called Raincrow Fiberarts and am slowly setting up the business plan to get my dream off the ground. I find that, each day, it is imperative for me to have methods to develop my new and fresh ideas, because while I am trying to create I am still a mom, a wife, a friend, a family-caretaker of elderly grandparents, a farm gal with animals and plants to nurture, etc. I have many hats, as all women do, and it presents a challenge to get into the "creative mode" sometimes. It is for this reason that I felt specially qualified to become the editor for BellaOnlineīs "Creativity" topic, and am delighted to join this unique and talented group of people who comprise this site.

When I am not running my business, cooking, cleaning, caretaking and being all the other things we ladies need to be in this modern world, I love to go camping, spending time writing/reading, biking, dreaming of big trips Iīd like to take someday, gardening, and spreading some love to my six house kitties (fur kids, as we call them). Itīs important, I believe, to take time and really absorb how truly blessed our lives are as well, so I work with meditation to listen to my inner guide sometimes. So in closing, I am delighted to be here and will be sharing with you the things I have learned to bring out the best in our creative processes. Canīt wait to share with you!
