Resources for Writers

Guest Author - M. E. Wood

I often get asked to provide information or links relating to the art of writing, publishing and marketing fiction. The Literary Fiction site at BellaOnline is not about the profession of writing. It is located under the books and music category of BellaOnline and is limited to the joy of reading.

Luckily BellaOnline is a well rounded website full of talented writers knowledgeable on the creative aspects of writing as a profession. There are a few areas offering resources for writers depending on your niche:

* Fiction Writing
* Writing for Children
* Non-Fiction Writing

My website M. E. Wood has a small listing of helpful online resources for writers that I recommend for those starting out. They include topics such as freelance, fiction writing and poetry.

The Book-in-a-week site for writers also has a number of recommended resources for writers. It is an excellent group for challenging your productivity once a month for a whole week.

There you go. More than enough information to get you on your way. My advice? Write, read and write some more. But whatever you do never stop reading.

M. E. Wood lives in Eastern Ontario, Canada. If you are going to find this eclectic reader and writer anywhere it is probably at her computer. For more information visit her official website.
