Atkins Country White Bread Mix
We used to love our bread machine but it went on a back shelf when we changed to a low carb lifestyle. I had to haul it out and give it a dusting to give this country white mix a try. Making the bread was certainly easy enough - add water and oil, hit the on button. A few hours later, there was my fluffy loaf, waiting for me.
The box says 15 servings at 3g effective carbs each. We would have been VERY hard pressed to cut our loaf into 15 slices, but I also have to admit that our bread machine tends to make loafs that are not quite as long as they should be. So our loaf was on the compressed side. The bread was very tasty. We each ate a piece just with butter and enjoyed it a lot. We used some of the rest to make into breadcrumbs for a meatloaf recipe.
So even if you don't want regular slices of bread, this can be a great way to get low carb breadcrumbs for your veal cutlets and other kitchen projects. I'll recommend this one!
