Don Freeman was the writer and illustrator of a collection of best-selling children picture books. His most famous character is Corduroy. He continued Corduroy character in the following: A Pocket for Corduroy, Corduroy Goes to the Doctor, Corduroy Makes a Cake, Corduroy on the Go, Corduroy's Garden and other picture books. Infants, toddlers and young children enjoy Corduroy and his friend, Lisa. Not only do they enjoy Don Freeman Classic books, but the resulting films, television shows and paintings.

Don Freeman became interested in children picture books after the birth of his son, Roy. Don and his wife, Lydia Cooley Freeman, wrote children picture books together. Freeman co-wrote with other authors too. Here is a full list of Corduroy books written and/or illustrated by Don Freeman.
