Naturally Neutral For Spring Attire

What do you mean naturally neutral. Neutral as in beige, off white, cream and tan. Yes these are all considered part of the natural palette when it comes to dressing. They have had no dyes added to them and can be worn by anyone of any complexion.

Light in color, neutrals reflect light and is often worn in warm climates to reflect the heat of the sun. When garments are made of linen and cottons, they present a very light and airy look and feel.

As Ethnic Beauties, your beautiful bronzed complexions enhance the neutral colors. Let's take a look at a few silhouettes for your spring wardrobe expression.

Tunic Tops are a great silhouette for all body types. They cover all sorts of things that you might not want to be seen such as belly fat. If you have no belly fat, good for you.

Casual wide/full leg pants - I don't know about you but when it's hot outside, I don't like for a lot of fabric to touch my skin. Hence, I have a tendency to wear very loose fitting garments when it's warm outside. The hotter it gets the more flowing my garments gets. That's me.

For you, it might mean a pair of white skinny jeans with a cream colored lace top. I can see it now. This makes a wonderful statement when you walk into a room.

Dresses whether long or short are a wonderful way of bringing naturals and neutrals into your wardrobe. Linens, cottons and silks are a wonderful way of bring softness into your wardrobe in the form of a dress. You can often find garments with all these fabrics combined into one.

Undergarments are important when wearing your neutral garments. Depending on what message you'd like to convey, your undergarments will set the stag. When wearing white, white undergarments will give you a naturally layered look, while beige can give the illusion of actually having nothing on under your clothing.

When wearing beige, your beige undergarments will provide you with a more even toned appearance under your garments.

Foot wear can go from beige, to white, to bronzed, to jeweled. Strappy sandals, open toe pumps and sling backs will enhance your wardrobe and provide you with elegant style.

While this is a great look for spring and summer, it's not the only look you can have. Neutrals give you an opportunity to bring in color and extend the look and feel of your wardrobe.

Have fun and enjoy the warm weather ride into summer bliss.

That's it for this week, as always
