I Love Cristina Kim

I Love Cristina Kim
This outgoing women’s golfer is fun to watch, she goes all out with her game, her clothes, her mouth and it makes me laugh. For such an outgoing player, I have to say it is a switch from all the serious golfers in the LPGA. In Golf Magazine section Front 9 is a question and answer interview with Christina called LOUD AND PROUD. Well you know that caught my eye with a picture of Christina in a plaid hat and jacket and a big smile and long braids hanging down. I just had to read this interview by Cameron Morfit.

She was asked by Cameron about her outspoken Twitter site where she has words to say about Bubba Watson and did she regret saying them. Of course she said she did not regret that one bit as she added that if Bubba was going to be ignorant, he should give back his Mercedes, the $500,000 watch and all the other items as you can’t have it all and criticize an event. She made mention of the True Religion jeans and that he should put on his Wranglers, flannel shirt plus more and this kind of talk just proves the players who complain should be grateful for the chance to play in these events.

She had words to say about Steve Williams and his racial remarks about Tiger and said she would have thrown him to the curb. She said that even if she if outspoken and antics she always tries to promote golf. Childish stuff and remarks just don’t help golf. Christina was criticized by Dottie Pepper of being disrespectful of the game and acting like a diva. Christina was not happy with Dottie as she mentioned it is like the turn around when there was a time Dottie made her cry by the remarks she made at a tournament during her rookie year. She mentioned that Dottie could through a tantrum and throw clubs even saying, “Don’t even blink when I am putting?

Cameron asked her if she thought she was in a good place for the 2012 Solheim Cup and she remarked that she thought she was. She felt she had momentum during the end of last year that should help her be more competitive this year. She was asked what was stopping her game and she said little things like not getting the distance on her tee shots or between clubs on some shots. She mentioned that many things need to be tightened up some more in her game but she is ready.

This was an interesting and entertaining interview and Christina Kim can make you smile and glad there is a player like her on the tour. She was a joy to watch on the Solheim Cup play and will be looking forward to watching her during this 2012 LPGA tour. I find there are not too many players out there that are fun to watch, many have to have their caddie help them line up every shot from driver to putting, that gets a little old. Good Luck Christina Kim in 2012.
