Mill Creek Upgrade Noving On

Today on my regular Friday stop at the Mill Creek Country Club I found a chance to go inside the club house. The granite people where there installing counter tops throughout the building. I brought the camera and started shooting pictures from the new entrance way and since there was little activity inside I walked right in and started taking pictures.

The Pro shop was given more space with a good window view outside. The counter and shelves were installed with a good start. There is a door off the Pro shop entrance to the offices for the Staff. There is good space for displaying golf accessories from clubs to shoes and clothes. I will be interested to see this finished.

I walked on through to the open area which will be the new dining room and the workmen were cleaning up the floor ready to tile. This has windows that open up to the swimming pool which they also plan to upgrade to make it more private and decorated. This is really great to see the top upgrades going in.

As I walked through the dining area to a door on the farther side it led to the kitchen. This is where they have already installed some of the granite countertop that I saw lined up outside. This will be an entirely new kitchen which will serve food to members and guests. Their designs and quality of improvements were good to see.

Two doors on the side of the dining room lead to the lockers. The first I checked was a large room that led to the locker room. This looked like the card room I saw on the plans that were posted and to the men’s locker room. Here the ceramic wall designs were impressive.

Next to the men’s area led to the ladies locker room, bath and shower. It had the same designs and material as was in the men’s locker. The granite counter tops in the wash room next to two showers. I am so looking forward to seeing the completed club house.

The owners have come through with excellent upgrade and it is moving right along. Hopefully be ready within the next month for their grand opening event.
