Club House Open

Club House Open
I was feeling much better today so drove over to the club house in my golf cart. As Jane Wilmer and I who have been disabled this winter, to get in some putting games. What a surprise as I came up to the trailers to check in with the crew and I found them both empty. I drove over to the club house and everything was up and running so with my camera ready to record it all. So nice to be back into the new renovated club house. Pro shop open to a much bigger display area and nice to see golf equipment and clothes displayed in the new room.

Moving on into the dining room I could see all three workers behind the window to the kitchen. I walked leave my container of cookies for the Sunday coffee drinkers as they seem to really enjoy the fresh bakes cookies. The dining room is much bigger with all the windows looking out to the swimming pool. Nice looking table and chairs and the patio also filled with the round table and chairs. The French doors open to the patio so will be nice to sit there for a meal. The wood chair rail around the room was a nice added touch.

I wanted to check out the locker rooms and was so surprised at the great attraction that was on the doors. Since I love art work and these were both men and women golfers made out of carved assorted woods. This was great to make this something special with this type of an addition to both doors to the locker rooms. I was so pleased to see this artistic work used in this way.

I now am looking forward to the Grand Opening on May 3rd with special events for the members of a two person scramble and putting contests. A Fajita dinner will be served in the evening. I am working with J. L. Lewis our Pro as our Mill Creek Community Association is invited to come in the evening and partake of the Frajita dinner. They will have to email me as to how many want to stay for the meal. This way I can inform the kitchen of how many extra people will enjoy the Frajita’s. These people will pick up their dinner ticket at our welcome table and pay the kitchen when they plan to eat. Since I do the MCCA newsletter I am now working to get it in the mail next week.
