Low Carb Low Fat Recipes
Low carb is about reducing sugar and starches. Low fat is about reducing fats and oils. What you're left with is protein and fiber! Here are some recipe ideas that are low carb AND low fat.
Fish is incredibly healthy for you - full of fish oils, low on fat. Grill up some tuna or salmon. Grill some chicken or pork. These are quite easy to do, and also easy to customize. You can do a grilled lemon recipe, grilled garlic recipe, grilled teriyaki, all with very quick and simple marinades.
Steaming veggies is the best way to cook them - you retain all of their fresh flavors and vitamins. If you steam broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts or asparagus, you get a delicious, healthy dish that is high in fiber, low in carb and low in fat.
There are probably hundreds of salad variations out there - tuna fish salad, chicken salad, spinach salad, etc. Salads are naturally high in nutrients, low in carbs and low in fats too.
