Garlic Broccoli Recipe
Talk about creating a healthy, delicious dish in only a few minutes! Garlic is great for you, and broccoli is very nutritious. Combine the two together in this quick and easy recipe!
2 cloves garlic
1 cup broccoli
dollop olive oil
Put the olive oil into your pan and let it warm up. Dice the garlic and add into the oil. Now toss in the broccoli and shake it around until warm. Add in 1 cup water and cover for 2 minutes.
The entire dish has only 5.7g of which 2.2g are fiber, meaning a net carb count of 3.5g. Plus you get 2.5g of protein and only 108 calories. You get 113% of your daily vitamin C!
I can't say enough about the benefits of garlic. Garlic is touted as a super health food by many medical experts and I have to agree. Many cultures have garlic at the core of their diet and attribute long life and good health to it. It's well worth it to find ways to increase the amount of garlic you eat each day.
As for broccoli, it's another one of those super-foods. It's healthy, full of nutrition, naturally low in carbs and calories, and it's tasty too. Especially when you mix it in with garlic :).
