Kraft Ranch Low Carb Dressing

Kraft Ranch Low Carb Dressing
Kraft Ranch salad dressing comes in with only 2g of carbs. It's amazing that any salad dressing has sugar in it, when you think about it! Anyone who enjoys eating salads should be going for low-sugar salad dressings.

Don't think low carb means it's "strange". They make a low carb salad dressing by not adding in extra sugar. Why do makers normally add sugar into salad dressing, ketchup, peanut butter and other staples of life? It's no wonder our society is obese.

In any case, Kraft low carb ranch is a standard ranch, that is to say a creamy white mayonnaise-based dressing for salads. This salad dressing is made without sugar :). It's got a very mild flavor, and does a good job of adding moisture to a salad.

Some might say the Kraft ranch dressing is too mild. It's got very little flavor. But really, I would rather have a mild dressing so I can add whatever herbs I'm in the mood for. Maybe one day I add basil, maybe oregano another day. If you have a back yard or window herb garden this is perfect for you. Add some sage in one day. Add some parsley the next.

If your salad dressing is really strong, you can't do that without causing strange flavor combinations. If your salad dressing is mild, then this is perfect.

Well recommended!

The nutrition facts for 2 Tbsp of serving is:

370mg sodium
0g protein

They have no vitamins to speak of - no vitamin A, vitamin C, calcium, iron, etc. That's fine - your salad is full of great nutrients. You shouldn't rely on the salad dressing to affect that. The salad dressing is just there to add a moist counterpoint to all the dry lettuce and carrot and other items.

Anybody with allergies to milk and egg should be aware that this Ranch dressing (and really most ranch dressings) have milk and egg as key components. Also, this Kraft dressing has soybean oil as its #2 ingredient (behind water) so that is also important for people with soy allergies.
