Accessories And How They Enhance

Guest Author - April Alisa Marquette

Accessories are the things that when added to an outfit can cause one to appear pulled together. Consisting of more than just gems and jewels they can instantly update a look, or give new life to a much loved outfit. Accessories can be mixed and matched. Platinum can look lovely with diamonds, and turquoise with silver. Amber can look stylish with yellow and tri-color gold or bronze. All are capable of creating interesting focal points, and some items may even become conversation sparks. Due to this, let's look at making use of accessories that can also offer others a glimpse into how unique one is as an individual.

Earrings - are one accessory that can instantly brighten up the face, especially those consisting of diamonds, zircons, or sparkling gemstones. The hoop earring is always chic and timely; quite frankly, I am of the belief that with these, the bigger the better. However, be careful of anything that pulls excessively on the earlobe. Ethnic Beauties, when choosing an earring, why not pay attention to the color and shape, to better assess what works for you, what will flatter your skin tone or bring out your eyes? Then mimic that in other pieces. Ever changing, earring shapes come in a bevy of choices.

Necklaces - are great for drawing the eye to a specific point. They bring life to a subdued outfit or can aid one to feel better about a neckline. Necklaces are not only fashionable, but they can also help hide evidence of a zealous kiss, a scar, or the fact that the column of one's neck shows signs of aging. Necklaces don't necessarily have to match one's earrings; when they do this is nice, but why not layer, or wear multiple lengths and styles?

Bracelets - are great. Not only do they add sparkle that the wearer can readily see, but they can be functional too. Say one is tall, and her sleeves donít happen to be lengthy enough. A bracelet can beautifully camouflage that. Night time is the right time for the bright cluster that keeps up a bit of clanging. Or why not wear a funky charm bracelet, or several chunky ethnically-inspired wooden, or gemstone bracelets. The never fail go-toís are timeless multi-strand pearl, or even diamond tennis bracelets.

Rings - draw attention to the hands, especially the fingers, and can create bohemian or elegant looks. An ethnic beauty can wear stackables, or a large cabochon on the index finger. The thumb can be adorned as well. And what's great is now days, cocktail rings, like right-hand rings, are not just for evening. So enhance the look of your fingers, long or short, with the ring(s) of your choosing.

In a different article we'll look at other items of interest not mentioned at this time. However, until then, have fun with your accessories, old and new!
