Carb-Smart Monterey Linguine
If you've been eating dried pasta, it's time to wake up! Fresh, fridge-bought pasta is MUCH tastier - and by going with Monterey, you only get 22g per serving!
Now, I realize that 22g might seem a lot to a person just starting a low carb diet. But most people on a low carb lifestyle are on maintenance - they are eating low carb every day of their life, as a standard choice. Pasta is an occasional treat that works well in the diet as long as you choose wisely.
This pasta is very fresh, made only with wheat, eggs and soy. Its flavor is simply delicious and fresh tasting. It's not like that dried, crunchy pasta that you find in boxes. It is amazing how much better a fresh pasta tastes.
"Normal" pasta is just LOADED with carbs because the manufacturers tend to strip out all of the nutrition and health out of the pasta before they pack it into those cardboard boxes. Like with any other food choice, you need to choose something that is well made and healthy in order to end up with a healthy life. I really am impressed with the relatively low carb of the Carb-Smart line (about half that of normal pasta) and the fresh ingredients.
Use it with your favorite cream sauce, and see just how amazingly delicious low carb can be!
