Love Condition

Love Condition
Do you have a heart for others? Serving others and putting their needs above self is edifying to the body of Christ. The things that we may consider insignificant just might be the motivation or inspiration that someone else needs. Serving others is to serve Christ. When serving we must have love in our hearts.

Jesus said if you love me, then keep my commandments. We serve a merciful God. Deuteronomy 5:10 says And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments. The greatest of all commandments of God is love.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have a gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge; and though I have all faith so that I could remove mountains and have not charity, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. Although these things are remarkably important, they are nothing without love.

The scripture goes on to say Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil. We can give all that we have to help others, but if it is not done with the right spirit, it means nothing. It will not benefit you. When we do things out of love, it means so much more.

I would not want anything from someone that offered something that they really didn’t want to depart with, or were offering only for appearance sake. Perhaps the gesture was only made to show others the act of kindness, but was not heartfelt. I would not enjoy the gift quite as much. I would rather receive something from someone that I knew genuinely cared for my well-belling and was giving out of love.

Love is not self-seeking. It is not all about selfish desires or wants. It is about serving others. And now abideth faith, hope, charity these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Blessings!

Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for allowing us to come into your presence one more time. Thank you for your many blessings time after time. Thank you for your gift of love and healing power. I come into your presence asking you to answer every prayer in the Name of Jesus. You know what we are in need of Lord. I bind the enemy on every side in Jesus name. I bind the spirit of sickness and disease, lack, and oppression in the name of Jesus. I Bind the spirit of separation and divorce. I decree and declare healing and prosperity in the name of Jesus. Touch now Lord. We need you like we have never needed you before. Put your hedge of protection around us Lord. Increase our ability to love and serve with the right spirit. Step into our homes and deliver our families. Step in and give hope to a dying world. Hosanna. Save now Lord. Thank you, Lord. In the Name of Jesus I pray, Amen
