TEE for FREE

Golf courses across America will be giving free golfing instruction to women and teen age girls age 14 and up. This is in honor of Women's Golf Week the activities include hour-long group lessons, seminars on rules and club demonstrations from June 3 to 10. Check in with www.playgolfamerica.com where you can find a Golf course in your area.

When you click onto this web site you can type in your zip code and the golf courses near you within 10 miles that will be giving these free women's golfing instructions. I know this works as I typed in my zip code and find my home course was listed as being part of this service for women golfers. I hope to take part and will offer to help our Pro in any way I can to get many of our golfers to participate.

On this web site also there are areas you can check out like Play Golf, Golf Instruction, Golf Equipment, Rules and Etiquette and Golf Fitness. From each of these areas you will get some good information to help you in your interest to become a better player. On the Home page there are seven pictures with area that may peak your interest so click on that to find out more in that area. I clicked on Casual and Avid golfers and found many areas with questions that may interest you. The following intro is how I feel about golf;

There are a number of reasons why people play golf. Whether it's for recreation, exercise, or tournaments, golf is a wonderful way to be outdoors, in a beautiful setting, sharing time with friends and family.

From the highly competitive, avid golfer to the easygoing casual golfer, more than 27 million people in the United States share a similar passionĄthey simply love the game of golf.

Golf The Game of a Lifetime

You can enter a sweepstake for a dream vacation on this web site. I did enter, you never know someone has to win. If you have any questions about any of the areas such as Instruction, Equipment, Rules and Etiquette or Fitness check out these areas, they have sets of question and answers on each site. I think this idea of free golf instructions all over America is a great way for many women to get involved. Golf is good exercise and it is game you can play for the rest of your life. I am proof of that as I am 80 and can still play 18 holes 3-4 times a week. I do have a riding cart but get plenty of exercise and keep myself in shape and with a good diet to stay healthy. Check out this web site and get involved with a Golf Course near you, after all it is FREE!!
