Se Ri Pak wins LPGA Tournament
After watching the Ladies Professional Golfer the past few days I admire these ladies and their skills. The new golfers coming up are great fun to watch and many from other nations are given our American gals good competition. Michelle Wie is so athletic with such an enormous swing and so effortless. These are the skills I loved to watch at how easy they swung their driver and it soared long and mostly straight. At least those are the ones that the TV covered.

It was a different story on the greens. On occasion there would be a long putt but generally they were miss read, hit way to long or too short. I was amazed to see so many three putts it must have been very difficult to read the greens. It almost seemed like I was watching my friends and I on our normal games. I know there were many birdies made as the play off was with eight under, but the scores ricocheted back at forth on Sunday afternoon.

Much attention was given to Michelle Wie, Annika Sorenstan on TV the first few days, Annika had her troubles but on Sunday she made a run at it but faltered on the last hole with a three putt green. Kerry Webb also was several shots back on Sunday but soared ahead and was in a playoff where she lost to Se Ri Pak from South Korea. Pak three putted the 18th hole on regulation play that put her in a playoff with Kerry Webb. Pak made a tremendous second shot on the playoff hole to three inches from the cup that won her the tournament. In the paper this morning I found that she used a Utility club and hit it 201 yards and became the winner. What a tremendous shot that was the best shot I saw of the whole tournament.
