Winners again for Tiger and Sherri!

Tiger Woods won the Buick Tournament again this past week end and doing it in style by shooting four 66’s to win by three strokes. It is amazing to watch him during these tournaments as he stays so focused on his game. This made him 50 wins and only being 30 years of age beating out all other famous golfers to win this many this quick. I enjoy watching him play as he is so methodical and great at execution of most every shot. No other player came close as Tiger hung on to his lead during the entire four days of play.

Sherri Steinbauer won the Weetabix Women’s British Open which made it her seventh win on Tour. She was seven under and this was her first win since 2004. Annikan Sorestan and Michelle Wie did not come close as Michelle has yet to win since turning Pro. The ladies play seemed to go back and forth until Sherri came out ahead on the last day. The course did not seem as tough as when the Men played the British Open which where on hard dried fairways.

We hope Michelle Wie the best as she is a great player, she just needs more experience at playing at a higher level. Once she gets that first win, I think she will come out on top many more times in the future. We wish her well.

Tiger has all the talent and dedication to compete at this higher level for many years to come. I am sure he will have his bad days, but he knows how to make things work for his benefit.
