Last year we had several special events happen to our ladies group, one had an Eagle and another a Hole-in-One so decided these needed to be honored. The Ladies golf group acknowledges the most improved golfer for the year so I decided they also needed a plaque. The plaques are a wood base with a metal plate in black and gold trim with two crossed golf clubs, ball and a scene of a golf hole behind. There was a place for engraving with six lines. This made it possible to put on all the information of special award, name, dates and name of our Golf Club. This was a great hit last year so since I was again the Ringer and Birdie chairman this year I ordered these award plaques again.

This year I had two Most Improved Golfers of the year who lowered their handicap the same amount. We also had another hole-in-one which happened to be me so ordered a plaque for myself. This is a nice touch and these plaques are well made and cost $12.85 each. I also ordered a gift for our past President from www.riherds.com which was a desk clock that featured everything imaginable that the clock would do. There also was a small engraved area at the bottom which gave her name, Golf club and year. This was only $15.00 and will make a nice remembrance of her year of service to our Association.

I also found that if you ordered a certain amount you would receive free shipping which is great. They also have a small charge if you have a small order but we did not have any extra charges and our bill came to $53.55. I thought this was excellent compared to other places I checked in my search. I ordered these items on November 16 and they were delivered on Monday the 26th. They will email you after delivery to check to see if the order was correct which I thought was a great service especially if something was not right on any of the engravings. When ordering you are asked the date you will need these items and they will make sure you receive them before that date.

An invoice comes with the order and the plaques were wrapped in foam covers. The box was also full of foam pellets to protect the items. The clock had its own box and wrapped in bubble wrap in the box. I have been trying to set all the times, dates, alarms, music etc, that is included in this clock but may have to ask for help. There is so much available on the clock but I want it just right when she opens the gift.
