Tiger Does it Again!

Tiger Does it Again!
It is amazing to watch as you know Tiger will do the unexpected shot to win yet another Golf Tournament. This happened to be the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill as Arnie watched the closing hole on Sunday with Tiger holed his 25 foot birdie putt to win. All Arnie could do was smile as this win put Tiger even with Ben Hogan with 64 wins in his career. Tiger is now on the march to catch Jack Nicholas with 73 and Sam Snead with 84, everyone can believe he will do this sometime in the years to come.

Tiger won this tournament for the fifth time along with several others such as the Buick Invitational, Bridgestone Invitational, CA Championship and the Doral. It is almost like if Tiger is enter there is that chance that he will win. I do enjoy watching him play as he stays so focused on his game that every so often a truly remarkable shot will be played to keep him in the winners circle.

Bret Bryant played so well and he deserved to win this is a golfer from are area of Bartlesville, Texas. Bret shot a 67 on the final day and was under par all through the tournament. He was the latest victim of a Tiger come through to win. Tiger beat Phil Mickleson the same way a few years ago at this say tournament by holing a long putt on the final hole. One does feel sorry for Bret as a win would have put him in the World Golf Championship and a chance to play in the Masters. Marc Turnsea made a hole-in-one on #7 only the 12th ace in the 30 year history at Bay Hill and the first one every on #7 golf hole.

When Tiger watched that putt track towards the hole he backtracked until he saw it drop and he flung his cap down and let out a roar at winning. He said later that he was wondering why Steve was handing him his cap. He did not remember slamming it down on the green. I am sure there will be many more wins for Tiger and it will be fun to watch. It is not that the other golfers aren’t trying many are playing well enough to win. It just seems with Tiger’s intensity and dedication to his game he just makes the impossible happen. With his talent and enjoyment to watch he is doing great thing to the game of golf. Many more are taking up the game and creating interest in many young people both boys and girls
