It’s time to list the TV on DVD releases we’re anticipating over the next few months. I have to admit I’m excited about the release of “Small Wonder,” that sitcom from the ‘80s about a little girl robot living with her normal family. Does it stand up? Not sure, but it’ll be fun to find out.

And although it’s not strictly scifi TV, I just had to list “Scarecrow & Mrs. King,” another ‘80s show I adored. But I’m also excited about the release of the first seasons of “Hercules: The Legendary Journeys” and “Xena: Warrior Princess.” Yes, these two syndicated fantasies from the ‘90s were campy, but both of them were also groundbreaking in some interesting ways (remember the musical episode of “Xena”?). And really, they were just a lot of fun. Other highlights include a new “Mystery Science Theater 3000” season, the second season of “True Blood” and SyFy Channel’s “Alice,” which was visually stimulating as well as entertaining.
