Tempt hemp products
Hemp is a powerhouse food that provides an alternative for individuals allergic to other protein and dairy sources. It’s a highly digestible complete protein, contains healthy fats and fiber.

I converted to hemp milk about one year ago when I was seeking a substitute for other dairy beverages that caused me food allergy issues. At first, I used it sparingly because it tended to separate in hot beverages, and I like to add “milk” to my hot tea.

That was before I discovered Living Harvest Tempt hemp milk. Now I am a lover of hemp foods, especially Tempt products. I can add the unsweetened vanilla Tempt milk to my tea and it doesn’t separate.

Here’s the nutritional low down on an eight-ounce serving of my favorite Tempt milk. Best yet the unsweetened variety has only 70 calories.

•A perfect one-to-three ratio of Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids.
•All 10 essential amino acids
•2 grams of digestible protein
•1 gram of carbohydrate
•Essential Vitamins A, B12, D, E, Riboflavin and Folic Acid.
•Essential minerals: magnesium, potassium, phosphorous, iron, zinc.
•30 percent of RDA of calcium

There’s more to love about Tempt hemp milk. You can use it hot or cold, add it to baked recipes, and make a creamy smoothie with it. For individuals with food allergies or sensitivities, hemp milk is free of dairy, soy, tree nuts and gluten.

Living Harvest makes all things hemp, including hemp protein, hemp oil and frozen hemp cream dessert. I’ve tried the hemp protein and it tends to be a bit gritty but adds well to baked recipes. I use it occasionally as an alternative to rice protein powder. I haven’t tried the Tempt ice cream but have heard it’s delicious.
