No Panty Lines! Body Shaper to the Rescue
This is not a review of Spanx, which has been in the news a lot these days. Each time they've been mentioned it's been referred to as a wardrobe malfunction. Headlines, don't they just give you a laugh from time to time. I always looked at wardrobe malfunctions as too much boobs for the top you're wearing or strap breaking and releasing the girls for all to see. This time it's just Spanx being revealed as the secret weapon that's controlling the not so controllable body parts.
Also known as shapewear or body shapers, these are the go to undergarment of the day. The new fiber/fabric is so comfortable it’s now the new panty, so to speak. Seamless and no underwire, body shapers virtually disappear under your clothes. With their no-roll, non-slip waistbands and edges, they will give you body a sleek, clean, sultry look in that skin tight dress you’ve been dying to get into.
Available in white, nude, black and some colors, these shapers will help slenderize, flatten, lift, round and mold your ever changing body parts. Whether is jeans, a skirt, a sultry dress or a wedding dress, this new garment will come to your rescue when you need to pull it all together.
Shapewear and the different levels of support
Light support will give you that everyday comfort which will slim and allow you to have a feeling of being unrestricted.
Moderate support offers you lift and smoothness. Depending on which shape wear piece you purchase, you’ll be able to achieve definition to your waist, slenderizing in your torso, lift in your derriere, sleekness in your thighs and an overall decrease in motion as your body moves. No more jingling baby!
Firm support> can actually slenderize and provide you with spinal support. You’ll enter a room standing tall and erect like the queen you are.
However … If you’re feeling like you’re about to pop from a can, you’re wearing shapewear that’s too small. Yes, the fabrics are made lycra and spandex, they even have a cotton crotch but you still shouldn’t feel uncomfortable. And ladies, for health sake, when you’re trying these garments on, wear a pair of clean underwear. You wouldn’t want to have your personal parts touching the crotch of a garment that’s been tried on by another crotch. Would you?
Shapewear is not just for women who feel the need to control a few extra pounds. It’s for any of you that might want to find sleekness in your appearance and the ability to do so without be uncomfortable. One of the best perks -having no “panty lines”.
That's it for this week. As always ...
