Celebrity Ghost Stories on Bio

If you have not had an opportunity to check out Celebrity Ghost Stories on the Biography Channel, you are missing some great scary tales experienced by your favorite stars. On these episodes, celebrities bare their souls and talk about some of the most private, personal, and frightening occurrences of their lives. Experiences that change the actors forever. One of my favorite episodes includes the lovely Shirley Jones.

Shirley Jones is one of the most experienced and talented actors to grace the screen. Years ago, when Shirley was married to Jack Cassidy, they lived in a haunted summer house.

Once when Jack had left for a few days on a business trip, Shirley's friend came to stay with her. She slept in a bedroom with a heavy wooden door. When the friend got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, the door slammed shut without any human intervention, and she was unable to get back into the bedroom. Calling for Shirley's help, they were finally able to get the door open. A little while later, the door slammed shut again, trapping her friend in the bedroom. Shirley heard her pleas for help, and again they both were finally able to get the door open.

Shirley's friend told her that there was something in that house, and she left. Then, according to Shirley Jones, "all hell broke loose."

Shirley would hear somebody walking up and down the rickety steps leading to the attic. The heavy wooden door continued to bang shut. The fireplace would light on its own. A ball kept bouncing in the attic, awakening Shirley in the night. Shirley would go up to the attic, and find nothing.

Shirley believes the former sea captain who had built the house had children who used to play in the attic.

Finally, Shirley had had enough and yelled out, "Please stop now. I know you are here. You don't have to do that."

The following morning, Shirley left the house. When she got back to their other home, a neighbor from near the summer house called to make sure Shirley was okay. The summer house exploded after Shirley had left!

Perhaps the entity was trying to warn Shirley that she needed to get out, or perhaps the entity was the cause of the explosion through the fireplace that kept igniting on its own.

This haunting story with Shirley Jones is just one of many interesting and mysterious tales involving celebrities. You can hear many more haunting celebrity tales on Celebrity Ghost Stories from Alice Cooper, Lindsay Wagner, Dianne Ladd, Marilyn Manson, Connie Stevens, Fred Dryer, Tracey Gold, Corey Feldman, Joan Collins, and many more on the bio channel.
