&campMust Love Cats is a new show hosted by musician John Fulton on Animal Planet, which premiered on February 12th. Episodes air on Saturdays at 8 p.m. E/P. My husband and I caught reruns of two of the three episodes that have aired thus far. And I must say, we’ve quite enjoyed the episodes we’ve seen to date.

In the show John Fulton travels throughout the United States in search of amazing cats, cat stories and their owners. His mission is to prove that America is full of cat lovers, from coast to coast.

According to Animal Planet’s website:

Must Love Cats is a celebration of fascinating felines and the fascinating people who love them.

It offers a potpourri of amazing feline stories, jam-packed with interesting factoids and trivia bits.

John Fulton has been a cat lover since his childhood friend – his cat Kitty – slept on his chest every night. He earned a degree in music performance from the University of Rhode Island. John incorporates his musical talents in Must Love Cats by singing feline related tunes as he plays his guitar (at least he did in the two shows we’ve seen so far). Some of his musical credits include: musical mastermind on “Live! From the Future… With Stuart Paap” on TheStream.tv, songwriter for the band, “The Fresh,” and composer of music featured on national television. In addition to the guitar, he plays the piano.

Must Love Cats is both entertaining and informative. Throughout the episodes little facts and tidbits are displayed across the screen.
