Another fantastic fry! This one might possibly be the best. He's certainly the largest of the hoard. Wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that he has one whole section of my 10 gallon divided tank all to himself....could be...notice the nice butterfly like effect on his tail.. His body is almost black with steelblue/grey to black tipped fins. small bit of red wash on the anal fin, but not much. He's nice! :-)

I have learned that this betta is considered a "Spadetail". This is how bettas looked when they first started coming into the United States back in the 40's. He's one of the fry from my steel spawn..and the only spadetail in the batch. He's also the largest of my fry and doing very well.

The tank on the right is Lytol..he NEVER has fin problems. Gorbash is in a tank behind Zorro..he's now in bettafix...AGAIN! Even in the BTT he still has problems with his fins.
