Tips to look slimmer (no diet required):

1) Stand/Sit Tall: Your posture has a huge effect on the way you look. When you stand up, make sure your shoulders are in line with your body, your back is not slouching backward or forward, your head and the back of your neck are raised up high, and your chest is open.

More importantly, pay attention to how you sit specially for long hours. Every once in a while, lift your rib cage upwards while you are sitting and repeat a few times.

2) Go Vertical: Vertical stripes (also called pin stripes) or patterns create the illusion of a longer torso. Vertically striped trousers or tops work with you to give you a slender look. Asymmetrical stripes, which distract away from curves, are also great. Make sure you stay away from anything horizontal.

3) Low Neckline: Items to avoid at all costs: high neck tops and turtlenecks. These are not even flattering on people who want to look curvier. Wear a v-neck top and for covering up insert a top under it or hide the neck with a cute pashmina scarf.
