The Spirit of a Boy Called “Shippa”
It isn't uncommon in the paranormal realm for spirits to attach themselves to children. Quite often the spirits of young ones are drawn to the presence of children living in the area they inhabit or "haunt."

Tombstone’s Haunted Big Nose Kate’s
Big Nose Kate’s Saloon in Tombstone, Arizona was originally opened as the Grand Hotel in September of 1880. Two years later, the building was destroyed in a devastating fire. Today, the renovated building is known as Big Nose Kate's Saloon. A variety of paranormal activity has been reported.

The Legend of Screaming Johnny's
Most small towns have an urban legend or two attached to their history; and, Mark Twain's hometown of Hannibal, Missouri is no different. Anyone growing up there during the late 1950's, 60's and 70's has heard the tale about Screaming Johnny's.

Haunted Antique Store in Hannibal
People have always loved their “stuff.” Is it possible that some of us are even reluctant to leave behind certain beloved items when it is our time to pass on from this plane of existence?

Hauntings near Warrensburg, Missouri
Many tragedies have occurred along the track of the present day Highway 50 near Warrensburg, Missouri. It isn’t surprising, therefore, that occurrences of paranormal activity are often reported from the area.

Haunted Block in America's Hometown
Hannibal, Missouri, boyhood home of Mark Twain, has many haunted historical buildings - especially in the downtown area. Recently, I discovered an entire block on Broadway has been lively with paranormal activity since the new owner started renovation work a couple of years ago.
