Bentley Little A brief look at Bentley Little and his contribution to horror literature. Frankenstein Mary Shelly penned the novel Frankenstein when she was nineteen in a time when men supposedly ruled the roost of interesting and intelligent literature. Since then, this "girly" tale has been credited with launching the science fiction genre and continues to hold a heavyweight place in horror. Graham Masterton Stephen King, James Herbert, Mary Shelley - we know who they are. We know their names and their works. I consistently tell people to pick up a Graham Masterton novel. Not only is he prolific, but he's just as good as these other household names. I dare you to read one. More Graham Masterton [offsite link] Hereīs a decent site which gives more information on my favourite author, Graham Masterton. It includes a horror fiction guide, an interview with the Master himself and a bibliography. Website - KANE, Damien [offsite link] Damien Kane is a pseudonym for Chris Willis, horror literature editor for BellaOnline. I hope you pop over and say hello! Website - KING, Stephen [offsite link] Horror isnīt horror without Stephen King. One of the worldīs foremost horror writers, Stephen King has scared us for decades with his writing. His site is well built and well maintained. Website - MASTERTON, Graham [offsite link] Graham Masterton has written more than a hundred novels and has a long list of achievements such as a Special Edgar, the Prix Julia Verlanger, Bram Stoker Award, World Fantasy Award nominee. Graham Masterton has frightened and amazed me for over a decade. His writing and characters remain long after the last page. Website - SMITH, Guy N [offsite link] I am a lover of 80īs fiction and when I think of that period, Guy N Smith automatically jumps to mind. I was reading his books before I was ten years of age! His short style novels had my head buried for years after and rumour has it, he wrote 10-15 novels a year!!
