Enjoy the Books of Don Freeman

His most famous character is Corduroy. He continued Corduroy in the following: A Pocket for Corduroy, Corduroy Goes to the Doctor, Corduroy Makes a Cake, Corduroy on the Go, Corduroy's Garden and other picture books. Infants, toddlers and young children enjoy Corduroy and his friend, Lisa.

Don Freeman became interested in children picture books after the birth of his son, Roy. Don and his wife, Lydia Cooley Freeman, wrote children books together. Freeman co-wrote with other authors too. Here is a list of books written and/or illustrated by Don Freeman.
