- 1 medium size head of cabbage - grated
- 1 large green bell pepper or 1 red & 1 green small to medium size bell peppers - finely chopped
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup cider vinegar
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
In a large bowl, mix the grated cabbage and finely chopped bell pepper together. In a separate bowl, whisk the sugar, vinegar, water, salt and pepper together. Pour over the grated cabbage/pepper mixture and stir until well mixed. For best taste, refrigerate for at least 2 to 3 hours before serving.
