Many people who do consider themselves religious, or follow another faith, nevertheless celebrate Weihnachten, Christmas, in Germany as a season of togetherness with family and friends. The cold November weeks see the beginning of Weihnachts Plaetzchen baking ready for Advent, and here are two of my family’s favourite recipes.
