Prune Men, or Prune People because Zwetschgenmaennla, dried plum boys, were joined by girls, Zwetschgenweibla, long ago, are one of the most popular traditional German handcrafts and found all year.


But as GOOD LUCK symbols they are even more popular around Christmas and New Year. There is a "How To" guide in the article, so you can have some fun making your own........and it is not difficult either.
