Though much of the world is still bundled up tight for winter, there are signs of spring around: here in the U.S., Daylight Savings Time begins on March 11, bringing with it longer, lighter (if not yet warmer) days. The additional hour of daylight always puts me in the mood to start lightening up for the season ahead.
Spring cleaning often brings to mind involved, time-consuming homekeeping tasks; when I was growing up, it meant vacuuming under the radiators and washing every window in the house, both chores I was certainly not crazy about! But I believe that getting ready for spring can also involve some simple, relatively quick organizing tasks designed to help you clear out the old and make room for the new. For the next few weeks, my articles will focus on organizing for spring throughout the home and office.
