Howdy, howdy. With so much bad in the world and being reported on in the news, time for some upbeat stuff! Have you seen the recent clip of President Uchtdorf's message on creativity and your personal right to create? It is beautiful; it is inspiring. Here is the link: http://ldsmediatalk.com/2009/02/26/mormon-messages-youtube-channel-update/
Along those lines, here is the link http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art61120.asp to my latest interview with another LDS writer, Lisa Mangum. Lisa has been an editor for years and has helped many writers along the way (you've probably read many books that she's quietly edited).
And now she has her own novel being released in May 2009. Come enjoy the journey with this terrific woman who is fulfilling her desires to create.

I hope to hear from you sometime soon, either in the forum or in response to this email message. I'd love to know what it is you're currently creating. And just for kicks, here are a few more resources to keep you busy finding your personal niche.
1. If you like to write books, stop by the LatterDayAuthors.com forum at http://www.latterdayauthors.com/wforum/index.php?sid=0f8b6508200ebc3a6000f04d6ee59eb0 or the LatterDayAuthors blog at http://latterdayauthors.blogspot.com.
2. My blog for artists of all kinds can be found at http://csbezas.wordpress.com.
3. If you are a musician, the LDSMusicians group is a great one to join at http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/ldsmusicians/. They periodically host a music festival in Utah, but support musicians all around the world who seek to develop their music talents, record CDs, etc.
4. If you are an LDS artist, check out http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ldsartists/ to meet all kinds of individuals who create in their respective fields.
Some of these groups are more active than others, but they all hold potential in helping you create. In fact, there are more groups than these. Do a search on the web and you'll find quilting groups, organic gardening groups, even food storage groups dedicated to using your food storage. If you name it, you can probably find it. If not, why not create one!
No matter your interest, there's probably a group out there to help you learn how to develop your talents and bless the lives of others. So again, here is the link to President Uchtdorf's message on creativity
http://ldsmediatalk.com/2009/02/26/mormon-messages-youtube-channel-update/ and here is my most recent article interviewing a woman who decided to finally sit down and write that novel floating in her head: http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art61120.asp
Enjoy! And have fun passing this message along to family and friends, because we all love free knowledge!
