IDITAROD! How It All Began
The Iditarod is Alaska's most famous sporting and outdoor event! Alaska's "Last Great Race"; this 1250+ mile long sled dog race runs along the Iditarod National Historic Trail from its "Ceremonial Start" in Anchorage to the exciting finish in Nome. Over 70 competitors and more than 1100 sled dogs!
