General Conference weekend is almost upon us. What an exciting time of the year! We celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ this month AND we get to hear from the living oracles of the Lord.

Did you know you can watch and/or listen to these living apostles and prophets by visiting http://www.lds.org? The links will be made available on the home page for this Saturday and Sunday's sessions at 10 a.m./2 p.m. both days (Mountain Standard Time).

In preparation for the peace that General Conference weekend brings, here's the latest article from the LDS site at BellaOnline.com:

"Facing Sodom and Gomorrah"
With sordid storms of sexual impurities and other challenging measures swirling about us, how are parents to protect not just ourselves, but our children? The gospel of Jesus Christ and the scriptures show the way. http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art61408.asp

Our Prophet, Apostles, and other General Authorities will give us beautiful advice this weekend to teach us how to strengthen our families and ourselves during these trying times. This article stands in preparation for it.

And if you've not watched or listened to General Conference on a Saturday before, ooh, you just have to try out one of the Saturday sessions (or both)! I think some of the best counsel is saved for Saturday sessions...kind of like a perk for those willing to go the extra mile.

Enjoy this weekend! Have fun passing this message along to family and friends, because we all love free knowledge!

Warmly,

C.S. Bezas, LDS Editor
