Greetings!

What a beautiful weekend for Mother's Day. I hope yours was delightful. My husband got called out to work a double shift. But my children made up the loss by making dinner for me, complete with a Dairy Queen ice cream cake. It was a wonderful day. I even had a few minutes to myself to finish reading the first story in a double volumn written by Nora Roberts, Dream Makers.

I have to decide...if this one book is two novellas, does that mean I can write TWO titles down on my reading list for 2007? (Let me explain my reading list. Several years ago I learned that one of my daughters was keeping a list of all the books she read in a year. I thought how cool that was so I started to do the same thing. I had NEVER thought of doing something like that, EVER.) I think I'll make it two entries but list the title for both. Yeah, that works.

When I have been at the message boards--and I'm trying to get there more often, really I am--readers have said they'd like to see the senior living site livened up. Well, I've taken a step in that direction, I think. I've added a new subject (and taken away an old one) and I've titled this new one "Cathy's Corner." It just seemed like the right thing to do.
