August 13 2009 Alaska Newsletter

Hi again, folks!

I know I just sent a newsletter out a few days ago - I am working towards getting on a better schedule for sending newsletters out soon AFTER the most recent new article is published rather than the other way around. So, with this newsletter, I should be caught up with the cycle and will try hard to stick to it as closely as possible on a weekly basis.

Here's the latest article from the Alaska site at BellaOnline.com.

National Parks of Alaska
The National Park system in Alaska is the most extensive in the entire United States. The spectacular vistas, abundant wildlife, hiking and cross country ski trails, vast wilderness, glaciers, towering peaks and active volcanoes are only part of what Alaska's National Parks have to offer.

This article is by no means all-inclusive of the state parks, preserves and national forests in Alaska (the article would have been WAY too long). I will be working on an article of Alaska's lesser known (but just as wonderful) locations soon.

In the meantime, please visit alaska.bellaonline.com for even more great content about Alaska.

To participate in free, fun online discussions, this site has a community forum all about Alaska located here -

http://forums.bellaonline.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=postlist&Board=433

Join us! We are currently talking about Fireweed, the changing season, driving the ALCAN, sharing photos of Alaska, enjoying a game naming Alaskan Animals and more.

I hope to hear from you sometime soon, either in the forum or in response to this email message. I appreciate on your feedback!

Have fun passing this message along to family and friends - I would enjoy hearing from them, too!
