August 27 2007 Organization Newsletter

Greetings from BellaOnline's Organization site!

At my local farmer's market this morning, I noted that several of the vendors were offering apples, pears, and acorn squash alongside their peaches and zucchini—a sure sign that fall isn't too far off. It's hard to believe that September will be here by the end of the week!

The change of seasons is a big transition time for many of us, as kids go back to school, days get shorter, and the weather starts to cool. This year, as summer sinks into fall, consider taking some time to reacquaint yourself with the things in your life and clear out whatever you don’t use, need, love, or find beautiful. Easier said than done? Let this week's article be your guide through that process.

While you're getting ready for the activities that fall brings—a return to school, the start of new sports seasons, and so on—take a few hours to create kits for the things you do most frequently. The time you invest now will pay off handsomely down the line. Here's a crash course on creating kits:

As always, you can find dozens more organizing ideas, tips, product reviews, forum discussions, and recommendations on the BellaOnline Organization site, www.bellaonline.com/site/organization. Be sure to visit the site in the coming weeks to read about getting organized for back-to-school and making an orderly transition from your summer wardrobe to your fall clothes.

In the meantime, celebrate the last of summer with gusto!

My best to you,
