Winter will be here in south central Alaska soon. I can feel it on the wind today and see it on the upper ridges of the mountains surrounding our valley. Mother Nature may be spreading rain across the valley floor, but she is leaving thick white footprints higher up. It's easy to track her path down the sides of the mountains.

I've added quite a few photos to the Alaska forum. Some were taken at our Alaska State Fair - it ended on Labor Day. Other pictures are scenic photos taken not far from home. There are days when "home" can be so very beautiful!
